A Message in Light of 9/11 and Yesterday’s Events

Hello friends,

I don’t usually post on Thursdays, but with last week’s holiday, and in light of yesterday’s tragic event as well as today being the anniversary of 9/11, I feel a strong urgency to speak.

A Turning Point for Our Nation

Yesterday, every Amendment in our Bill of Rights was violated in a single moment. A sniper’s bullet silenced Charlie Kirk—a man who stood boldly for our rights on college campuses across this nation. He championed the First Amendment, teaching young people about faith, truth, and the freedoms guaranteed to us as Americans.

For me, this tragedy struck especially close. Charlie Kirk’s organization was called Turning Point USA. Back in December 2023, the Lord spoke to me and my husband, instructing us to release a series of sermons titled “21 Days for 21 Months.” Each message was directed toward the youth of America—calling them to turn back to Christ. We warned that in exactly 21 months, there would be a turning point for our nation, a moment that would determine whether we survive or collapse.

Yesterday was that 21-month mark, to the day that this first video was released.

The Call to Peace

This horrific event confirms what God spoke to us. But now is not the time for retaliation. No matter how angry, tempted, or grief-stricken we may feel, we must hold our peace and guard our tongues. America does not need more division. What our nation desperately needs is a return to Jesus Christ.

I say this unashamedly, especially after having faced threats myself during my own college years—for nothing more than being a Christian. If anything, these threats and tragedies only strengthen my resolve.

Remembering 9/11

Today we remember the thousands of lives lost on September 11, 2001. That day marked the moment when God’s hand of protection was lifted from the United States. We were shaken, and our bubble of safety was shattered.

And now, it seems history is repeating itself. Our nation is again at a crossroads, and the future may change drastically from this point forward.

Are You Ready?

Whether you believe in God or not, let me ask you this: if the Bible is true, if heaven and hell are real, and if God’s Ten Commandments are His standard—would you be ready to face Him today?

Have you ever stolen, even something small? Have you ever looked at someone with lust? The Bible says these are sins. On our own, none of us will make it into heaven. But there is hope—because Jesus Christ laid down His life for us.

As John 15:13 says: “Greater love has no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”

He loves you, friend. He loved you before you were ever born: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” (Jeremiah 1:5).

So what are you waiting for? The Bible tells us that “today is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). None of us are guaranteed tomorrow. All you need to do is pray—admit you’re sorry for your sins, ask Jesus to forgive you, and invite Him into your heart and life. You will be amazed by the transformation that follows.

Closing

We are living in sobering times. Yesterday’s tragedy and today’s remembrance are both warnings and wake-up calls. Our nation desperately needs to turn back to God. And each of us, individually, must make the choice to be ready for eternity.
