A Busy Week of Big Goals, Family Visits, and Faith

VO by Amanda Sherrell

Hey y’all! It’s been a whirlwind of a week, filled with both hard work and cherished moments with family. With a little break from teaching my little ones due to Spring Break, I took the opportunity to focus on some long-term goals—including the launch of my Country Girl Gone City store! I’m so excited to be adding new products this week, and I can’t wait for y’all to see what’s coming next.

Beyond the hustle, this week also brought time for something even more important—family. I was able to visit my dad, who is currently fighting a tough battle with cancer. Right now, the only available treatment options are in clinical trials, and my prayer is that he’ll gain the strength he needs for this next round of therapy. If you’d be willing, please keep him and his wife, Melanie, in your prayers. Through it all, I hold onto the unshakable peace, love, and joy that only the Lord can give. As the Word says, “The joy of the Lord is my strength” (Nehemiah 8:10).

In the meantime, I continue to paint, pray, and write—finding comfort in creativity and faith. Thank you all for your support and prayers. Stay tuned for more updates and new products in the store and everything else coming soon!
