Hey there, lovely souls,

It’s been quite a journey since I last shared with you all. If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that last June, life threw me a curveball in the form of a drowning accident. One moment, I was riding high on the wave of life, reveling in my writing superpowers, and the next, I found myself grappling with the aftermath of a traumatic brain injury (TBI). It was like being thrust into an entirely different world, one where I had to navigate through the murky waters of rediscovery.

In the wake of the accident, I quickly realized that the path to reclaiming myself and my abilities would be anything but easy. Writing, once my sanctuary, became a daunting task, often requiring the aid of devices or the support of others. Yet, amidst the chaos and uncertainty, I stumbled upon a new outlet for expression – painting.

Painting became my solace, my sanctuary, my saving grace. In those moments spent with brush in hand, I found myself transported to a realm where prayers flowed freely, and melodies danced upon the canvas. It was as if God himself had taken residence within the strokes of my paintbrush, guiding me through the darkness towards a glimmer of light.

And now, as I sit here typing these words, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and awe. For the past few weeks have heralded a miracle – I am 100% healed, 100% whole. The fact that I am once again able to write with clarity and purpose is a testament to the incredible journey of healing and transformation that I have embarked upon.

With this newfound sense of purpose and passion, I’ve decided to pivot this blog towards a slightly different direction. While I’ll still be sharing inspirational insights and musings, I’ll also be shining a spotlight on the transformative power of God and the therapeutic power of the arts. It’s a journey that I’m thrilled to embark upon, and I can’t wait to share it with each and every one of you.

So here’s to new beginnings, to embracing the unexpected twists and turns of life’s journey, and to the boundless potential that lies within each and every one of us. Thank you for being a part of this incredible adventure – I couldn’t do it without you.
