For the Love of…

Babies

As humans, we are wired to care for others, especially the most vulnerable among us. For many of us, that includes animals. Whether it’s a dog, a cat, or something more exotic, caring for an animal can be a deeply rewarding experience. But it can also be challenging, especially when the animal is young and requires round-the-clock care.

For me, caring for baby animals has always been a passion. However, as someone on the autism spectrum, it hasn’t always been easy for me. That’s why I turned to my Heavenly Father for help. Throughout my life, I have been blessed to be able to ask Him for anything, and He has always been faithful to grant my requests.

Six weeks ago, I found myself once again asking for His help. I prayed for the ability to try again on raising a tiny kitten, despite my past struggles. To my surprise, the very next morning, a 1 1/2 week old kitten was left at my door. It was a clear sign of God’s faithfulness and provision.

But that was just the beginning. A few nights later, I had a dream that another kitten was dropped off at my door. And sure enough, the very next morning, my mother-in-law found another tiny kitten stashed under a junk pile. Once again, God had answered my prayers and provided for me in a way that was beyond my expectations.

In the Bible, we are reminded of God’s faithfulness and provision. In James 1:17, it says, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” This verse reminds us that God is unchanging and always faithful to provide for our needs.

Furthermore, in Psalm 37:4, it says, “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” This verse reminds us that when we humble ourselves before God and seek His will, He will give us the desires of our hearts.

As I continue on my journey of raising these precious kittens, I am reminded of God’s faithfulness and provision. He has given me the strength and ability to care for them, and I am grateful for His blessings. I encourage you to turn to Him in your own struggles and challenges, knowing that He will always provide for you in ways that are beyond your expectations.
